It is necessary for teachers to be aware of the copyright laws, so they do not use something in the classroom that is technically illegal. There are restrictions on using media and print. Also, there are limitations, even when using media for education. Teachers should know what resources they can and cannot use without permission. These copyright laws are to help teachers, not to solely restrict them. This is so that creators of these multimedia products will continue to create to help in the education process.
